Swedish post-punk and goth trio Then Comes Silence have officially released their latest single, “Remaker Redeemer,” through Metropolis Records. The track is the second single taken from their upcoming studio album, Requiem Ballroom, scheduled for release on November 20, 2026.
Concept and Music Video
“Remaker Redeemer” serves as the introduction to the lighter portion of the upcoming album. According to the band, the track explores themes of cleansing and starting anew, featuring an experimental choice of instrumentation. The release is accompanied by a music video directed by Damon Zurawski of Future Legends Films, who previously directed the video for the band’s August single, “Judgement Day.”
The Dual Structure of Requiem Ballroom
The album is designed as a diptych of two contrasting halves. The first part, titled “Requiem,” represents darkness and symbolic closure, while the second part, “Ballroom,” represents light and resurrection. The album features the following 12 tracks:

About the Band
Formed in Stockholm, Sweden, by Alex Svenson, Then Comes Silence has established a presence in the international darkwave and gothic rock scenes. The current lineup consists of Svenson on vocals, bass, and synthesizers, Jonas Fransson on drums, and Hugo Zombie on guitars. Requiem Ballroom follows their 2024 album, Trickery. The band is currently touring mainland Europe following their appearance at the M’era Luna Festival in August.
