Jah Wobble & The Invaders of the Heart have announced a physical reissue of their 2xCD compilation album, The Usual Suspects, scheduled for release on November 13, 2026, via Dimple Discs. Originally issued in 2017, the collection has been out of print and is currently available digitally on Bandcamp ahead of its autumn street date.
The 23-track compilation features studio re-recordings of various eras of Jah Wobble’s extensive career. This includes selections from his solo work, material with his experimental post-punk project Invaders of the Heart, and tracks from his tenure as the founding bassist of Public Image Limited (PiL). Featured tracks on the album include covers of ‘Midnight Cowboy’ and ‘Get Carter’, Dawn Penn’s ‘You Don’t Love Me (No, No, No)’, and a reimagining of ‘Visions Of You’, which originally featured Sinéad O’Connor on the 1992 Mercury Prize-nominated album Rising Above Bedlam.
The recording personnel for the studio tracks includes Jah Wobble (bass, vocals, percussion), Marc Layton-Bennett (drums), Martin Chung (guitars), George King (keyboards), Steve Rigby (programming), Sean Corby (trumpet), and vocalists Aurora Dawn and Holly Macve.
UK and Belgium Tour Dates
To support the reissue, the band will perform a series of live dates across the United Kingdom and Belgium during October and November 2026. The scheduled tour dates are:
