Slovenian industrial music group Laibach has announced the upcoming release of MUSICK : ENCORE, a companion piece to their recent studio album, scheduled for release on November 20, 2026.
New Release and Video Launch
The upcoming record features five unreleased tracks recorded during the initial sessions, four of which are currently featured in the band’s live performances. The release also incorporates several remixes. The vinyl edition includes contributions from Richard X, PUNCHBAG, and SILVERWINGKILLER, while the CD release contains four additional remix versions. Alongside the announcement, Laibach has released a new track titled ‘This Is The End’ and a PUNCHBAG remix of ‘Love Machine’.
Simultaneously, a new music video for ‘Love Machine’ has premiered. The visual, filmed in Slovenian forests and industrial locations, features guest vocalist Senidah and was directed by filmmaker KUKLA. Additionally, the band confirmed a physical release of ‘DIE KANONE’—their reinterpretation of Bijelo Dugme’s debut single—scheduled for October 30, 2026. This physical release features remixes by Die Krupps, The Lincolnshire Poacher, and Black Dot, alongside a live recording with the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra.
Touring and Volkwagner Project
Laibach’s international touring schedule continues with the second leg of the MUSICK tour starting in Ljubljana, Slovenia, before heading to the United Kingdom and mainland Europe. A third leg of tour dates has been confirmed for February 2027. Furthermore, the group plans to stage VOLKSWAGNER RE-VISITED at Ljubljana’s Cankarjev dom in January 2027, representing a performance that critically reinterprets Richard Wagner’s compositions and themes of ideology and power.
