Belgian electronic group Lords of Acid has released “El Mundo Está Loco” (translated as “The World Is Crazy”), their third single of 2026. Released on June 12, 2026, via Metropolis Records, the track features guest vocals from New York City-based duo Tony & The Kiki.
The collaboration follows the completion of the band’s “Cheeky Freaky Tour” of the United States, on which Tony & The Kiki performed as a support act. “El Mundo Está Loco” features a musical blend of electronic rhythms and Latin-inspired arrangements, built around a vocal dialogue between both acts.
Upcoming Seventh Studio Album
The new single follows two previously released tracks from Lords of Acid in 2026:
- “Karaoke Superstar,” a collaboration featuring American vocalist and DJ Princess Superstar.
- “Dream Boy,” featuring vocals from Carla Harvey, who currently performs with the band.
All three singles are scheduled to appear on the band’s upcoming seventh studio album, which is slated for release in late 2026. The forthcoming full-length record will feature further guest vocalists alongside Harvey.
About the Artists
Formed in Antwerp, Belgium, in 1988, Lords of Acid emerged as an act within the electronic and industrial dance music scenes, debuting with the single “I Sit On Acid.” Their debut album, Lust, was released in 1991. The guest act, Tony & The Kiki, is a New York-based rock and theatrical performance group.
