There is a bit of “Chinese Burn” in the new Gone Future release. Featuring fellow Swede, ShitKid, “PIG!!” sounds like a mutant version of the Curve classic – which is no bad thing. Played loud in the car, it’s the riotgrrrl response to the insanity of modern city life.
Gone Future
A new song from the Swedish supergroup Gone Future takes a wedding song in a different direction. They explain:
Lifetime is a very personal song about finding love in the wrong time and place, not being able to fully commit, and dreaming of an alternate reality where things would be different.
A (re)combination of familiar faces from the Swedish music scene, Gone Future features Mats Björke (Mando Diao), Nicki Dar and Tyra Hasselrot (Dolores Haze), and Josefin Lyzwinski (Dead Vibrations).
With their debut single, “The Middle,” we finally get some indietronica with attitude.
