PIG to Release New EP ‘Dirt Box’ on Metropolis Records

Raymond Watts, operating under his industrial project name PIG, has announced the release of a new EP titled Dirt Box. Scheduled for release on 4 September 2026 via Metropolis Records, the EP serves as a follow-up to his May 2026 studio album, Hurt People Hurt.

The eight-track EP features four brand new original compositions and four corresponding remixes. Songwriting contributors for the new material include Marc Heal (Cubanate, C-Tec), Günter Schulz (formerly of KMFDM), and Watts’ long-term songwriting partner Jim Davies (formerly of The Prodigy and Pitchshifter). The EP’s opening track, ‘An American Ideal Of Beauty,’ was previously released as a single in late July 2026. The remaining four tracks on the release are remixes of the new songs by electronic and industrial artists, including Chris Hall of Stabbing Westward and Combichrist.

The release of Dirt Box coincides with the start of an extensive 44-date North American tour in support of the Hurt People Hurt album. The tour begins one week prior to the EP’s release date and includes stops in major cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, and Austin, where PIG is scheduled to perform as part of the Cold Waves XIV festival lineup.

Watts has a long history in the industrial music scene, having been a founding member of KMFDM and collaborating with acts such as Einstürzende Neubauten, Foetus, and Psychic TV. He has also composed music for film, television, and fashion showcases, including projects for the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Alexander McQueen.
