Conny Olivetti Releases Reworked Version of ‘Electric Machine Music’

by coldwarnightlife

Electronic music artist Conny Olivetti has announced the release of Electric Machine Music 2, a fully updated and reworked version of the project’s 2020 album. The new edition is currently available for streaming and purchase via Bandcamp.

According to the artist, the decision to revisit the material occurred while working on another project titled Dusting off the Past. Reviewing older material led Olivetti to re-examine the production and engineering choices of the original Electric Machine Music, which was first released on July 31, 2020. The updated release seeks to align the album with the artist’s current production standards and sonic preferences.

Tracklist Adjustments and Mix Variations

The revised album features several technical alterations, new mixes, and changes to the tracklist sequencing:

  • New Mixes: “Klick klack”, “Factory Worker”, and “Nuclear Test Site” have all received entirely new mixes for this release.
  • Edits and Revisions: “Grenzwellen” has been presented in a new edit. Additionally, two previously released tracks, “Beim Überleben (étape Asia)” and “Grenzwellen für Immer”, have been edited and integrated into the album.
  • Removals: The song “Revolution” has been removed from this edition of the record.
  • Original Mixes: The title track “Electric Machine Music” and “Der Computer nr 3” are preserved in their original mix formats.

While Electric Machine Music 2 represents the artist’s preferred version of the material, the original 2020 edition remains accessible on Bandcamp for listeners who prefer the initial mixes.
