Thunder Bae is back from her LA showcase with “Gay Alice in Wonderland.” The track twists drug-assisted surrealism into something darker and more deliberate. Driven by a pulsing electronic rhythm, the track balances playful, almost cartoonish synth lines with an undercurrent of club-ready tension.
Having previously worked with Propaganda, Thunder Bae brings a clear sense of electronic lineage, but pushes it into more subversive territory. More Trainspotting than Yellow Submarine – trippy but stylish.
