Electronic musician and producer Chris Moore, under his project moniker Light Vortex, has released a new single titled ‘Without Glimmer Of Infinity.’ The track is the latest contribution to The Impermanence Project, a multidisciplinary collaborative endeavor hosted by the Mortality Tables label.
According to the project notes, the composition was designed to reflect the theme of impermanence through continuous shifts in structure, tonality, tempo, and harmony. The piece was written to mimic a biological life cycle, transitioning from an organized structure before eventually dissolving. The track was mastered by James Edward Armstrong.
The Impermanence Project features over fifty contributors from various artistic disciplines, including writers, photographers, and sound artists. The project is scheduled to conclude its submission process at the end of June 2026. This release follows the May 2026 release of the second Light Vortex album, Aurora In Georgian Bay.
Chris Moore is an electronic musician known for his work under several aliases, including While, Polysilicon, and Thresholds. He is also a founding member of the minimalist group A.M. Boys and has contributed production and sound design work for artists such as David Bowie, TV On The Radio, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
