Primitive Heart is an ambitious and accessible synth-pop project by multi-genre producer and visual artist, Dani Mari.
The New York-based Mari will be known to readers of Cold War Night Life for her active role in Female Frequency, the community she co-founded to promote music by women.
No Fear In Love, the debut album for Primitive Heart, was co-produced by Mari and Rosana Cabán (Psychic Twin, Cosas Cosas). It has been compared to the sounds of Sylvan Esso, Mazzy Star and Beach House.
Released worldwide on Friday, 25 October 2019, the album highlights the ethereal, sensuous vocals of Mari and her innate sense of melody.
